Fagus sylvatica (Beech Hedging) is a stunning Instant Hedging plant, native to Britain and ready to plant in any garden. It’s particularly suitable for chalky or shallow soils over Limestone – just be sure avoid wet or heavy clay soils! Often compact at 4 foot tall, Beech Hedging can grow up to an impressive 100 foot in height and width if left unclipped – although regular clipping will keep it nicely shaped, while old leaves will stay on the plant during the winter months until pushed off by new growths in Spring. Beech Hedging is the perfect addition to any outdoor space, with its stunning aestethic and versatile nature.
