Our Returns Promise
We accept returns and exchanges within 15 days of delivery for most products. Please note that due to their perishable nature, the following items cannot be returned:
- Bulbs and tubers (Allium Bulbs, Begonia Tubers, Dahlia Tubers, etc.)
- Live plants (All Hedging Plants, Annual Plants, House Plants, etc.)
- Opened or planted products
Important: To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused, in its original packaging, and in the same condition as you received it. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
How to Initiate a Return
Our return process is as simple as planting a seedling:
- Contact Us: Email our Cambridge team at [email protected] within 15 days of receiving your order. Use our return request template below to ensure we have all necessary details.
- Wait for Approval: Our plant specialists will review your request within 2 business days and send return instructions if approved.
- Package Your Item: Securely pack the item in its original packaging, including all tags and protective materials.
- Ship It Back: Send the package to our nursery at:

Refund Process
Once your return is received and inspected (typically within 5 business days of arrival at our nursery), we’ll process your refund or exchange:
- Refund Method: Funds will be returned to your original payment method (Visa, MasterCard, JCB, or PayPal)
- Timing: Refunds typically appear within:
- 3-5 business days for credit/debit cards
- 24 hours for PayPal payments
- Shipping Costs: Original shipping fees are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error
Exchanges
For exchanges (subject to availability):
- Follow the standard return process above
- Clearly indicate your desired replacement item in your return request
- We’ll ship your new item once the return is processed (additional shipping charges may apply)
Damaged or Incorrect Items
If your plants arrive damaged or you receive incorrect items:
- Contact us immediately with photos of the damaged items/incorrect order
- We’ll arrange a replacement or refund without requiring return shipment
Gardener’s Tip: For non-returnable live plants that arrive damaged, we may offer store credit or replacement at our discretion upon receiving photographic evidence within 48 hours of delivery.
International Returns
For customers outside the UK (excluding Asia and certain remote regions):
- You’ll be responsible for return shipping costs
- We recommend using a trackable shipping service
- Customs fees are non-refundable
